Alhamedellah, with the grace of Allah (SWT) ILIA has received its letter of determination from the IRS stating its tax exemption status. The IRS has determined that ILIA's work and mission qualifies the organization to be exempt from Federal income tax under section 501c(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to ILIA are deductible under section 170 of the Code. ILIA is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.
ILIA is also further classified as a public charity, alhamedellah since its inception in 2009 ILIA has been providing financial aid to all its programs and through the generous donations it received has been able to sponsor programs at area homeless shelters and low income populations for leadership development and training.
