Muslim Alumni of Maryland (MAM) Recognized By UMCP

On Jun 13th, 2015, the Muslim Alumni of Maryland (MAM)organization, (representing over 200 individuals that identify as Muslim Alumni of the University of Maryland, College Park), was recognized by the UMCP Board of Directors as an Official Chartered Network under the University of Maryland, Alumni Association. We made history!  WHAT DOES THIS INCREDIBLE MILESTONE MEAN FOR OUR COMMUNITY?  Non-profit 501(c)3 status which will elevate our ability to deliver fantastic programming and establish scholarship funds for our Members and Students A seat the table to bring incredible insight to campus leadership on engaging with Muslim families (Parents, Students and Alumni) across the Nation. Yesterday, we were part of an exclusive group, asked to provide feedback on new branding that will impact the University's image over the next decade!   A powerful relationship with the Alumni Association and other Networks to bring you amazing access to professional and educational opportunities  And Much more!
