Qualifications: Master's degree in education, as well as a certificate in special education, educational therapy, or similar background. Teaching credentials are mandatory. Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is mandatory. Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, well-organized individual who is eager to work in a highly dynamic, energetic school setting.
Subject matter knowledge in area of expertise must be solid; candidate must be prepared to teach, counsel and tutor material at a high school level immediately.
In addition to teaching, this person will help ensure that the school is appropriately serving students with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning challenges or ADHD, by helping families feel supported and assisting other teachers and leadership team deliver a successful social, emotional, and academic experience.
