This is a 2016 summer engineering internship position under the Partner Programs portfolio. The selected candidate will be assigned a mentor/buddy to help him/her learn about our processes, practices and policies, and to acquire needed domain knowledge. The candidate should have at least theoretical/classroom experience with the system lifecycle (e.g., requirements analysis, system design, implementation, integration and test, and deployment). The candidate should be able to work in a team environment to assist in the integration and test activities, as directed. The candidate may be asked to create new or update existing documentation used in the system lifecycle. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Intel Boot Camp and Smart Lighting Summer Camp

Selection into the Intel Boot Camp and Smart Lighting Summer Camp is a competitive process and all applicants must submit the following documents in order to be considered. Please Note: Selected participants will receive lunch daily and all required supplies & materials. Students must attend all days and participate in all activities. Each applicant must submit two (2) letters of recommendation. One letter must be from a teacher (preferably a science or math teacher). The other letter can be from a guidance counselor, supervisor, mentor, etc. Individuals related to you CANNOT write your recommendation letters.

Be sure to talk to the persons from whom you are requesting a letter to confirm that they will be willing to
provide a recommendation for you.

The recommenders should speak to your school performance, interests or extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, and why you should be selected for program.
